In the following we would like to inform you which data is collected, stored and used for which purpose.

B. Submission of online content

For the purpose of transmitting the website, your browser typically sends the following information (within the framework of so-called HTTP requests), like:

  • Your IP address, a sequence of digits that identifies your current computer connection on the Internet,
  • the website you have accessed,

Improvement of the offer through visit statistics

To improve our online offer, we occasionally evaluate how the site is used.

We create visitor statistics using the Piwik application. This application causes your browser to store two identification numbers (HTTP cookies) in order to distinguish between different users. In this context, your IP address is included in the evaluation, but immediately shortened in such a way that an assignment to you is no longer possible.

If you do not agree that your page views are included in the statistics, you have several options:

  • You can delete HTTP cookies in your browser.
  • In many browsers you can set to signal the site operators not to include them in such statistics (so-called “Do-not-track”). We adhere to this guideline.
  • You can also specify specifically for our offer that your use is not included. Piwik will store an opt-out cookie (“piwik_ignore”) valid for two years in order to stop the collection.
